As a child, I wanted to be a fashion designer. I learned how to hand sew from my grandmother and use a sewing machine. It seems the rest is history now. For five years, I have created my own patterns and costumes by hand. I have attended countless events and even competed in competitions. Costume designing is another form
of creativity for me. I continue to do it because it is an outlet for me to be whoever I want to be and
to break away from the world temporarily. For me, Halloween isn't the only reason I put on a wig
and cape.
